About the role
This Ofsted 'good' primary school is looking for a General Classroom Teaching Assistant to work within their KS1 department. The successful candidate must have excellent behaviour management and a good knowledge of the National Curriculum. You must be a committed practitioner who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout the role.
The successful candidate will be supporting children across Yr1 and Yr2 and as such versatility and an ability to adapt to the demands of various children and teachers is a key quality.
To join us and be successful in this Teaching Assistant role you will need to:
* Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification
* This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
* You must have the legal right to work in the UK
You will need to have strong behaviour management and good KS1 curriculum knowledge.
