Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: SEND High School, Skelmersdale
Working Hours:
- Monday: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
- Tuesday: 8:30 AM - 3:10 PM
- Wednesday: 8:30 AM - 3:10 PM
- Thursday: 8:30 AM - 3:10 PM
- Friday: 8:30 AM - 2:40 PM
Role Overview:
As a Class-Based Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in the student's educational journey. You will work closely with the class, providing general support and actively participating as they move between lessons. Your responsibilities will include supporting students with various needs and implementing effective behaviour management strategies to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Requirements:
- Full-time, long-term position
- Potential for permanent placement for the right candidate
- Ideally local to the school, but not essential
