We are looking to appoint Teaching Assistants with a passion for education and are able to offer CV enhancing roles as a stepping stone into teacher training and permanent contracts in some of the counties best schools for September 2021. Equally, we're interested in speaking with experienced education staff able to offer 2-5 days a week supporting pupils and schools.

The successful applicant will:
*Be an outgoing, inspirational individual, eager to further their own skills and knowledge in a classroom environment
*Be able to build positive relationships with students based on mutual trust and respect, in order to improve student attainment, and personal progression
*Have the drive and aspiration to complete their teacher training after their Teaching Assistant experience
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring that the needs of all students are met, and they are provided with a stimulating and encouraging environment to learn effectively. You will be working in both small groups and with individuals who may have a range of differing needs. Some students may have learning difficulties such as ASD, ADHD or Global Delay. Others may have English as their second language or come from low socioeconomic backgrounds and struggle with their behaviour. You will need to be adaptable, flexible, use your initiative and communicate well with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure all students are provided with the support they require.
Stevenage is well supported with local public transport from Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield and surrounding towns and all schools offer free parking for all staff.

To be successful in the Teaching Assistant role you will need to:
*Hold a minimum 2:1 degree in any specialism
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
*You must have the legal right to work in the UK
