Teaching Assistant, Full-time- Primary Phase
We are recruiting! Are you an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking for your next role in Swindon?
We are currently working in partnership with a school in Swindon who are looking to appoint two Teaching Assistants, in KS1 & KS2 in January. They are both full-time (Mon - Fri, 8:30 - 3:30), long-term role fixed until July 2021. The role is likely to be extended to a permanent contract upon completion of the fixed term for the right member of staff. This is a term-time only role.
This primary school have a new SLT who are looking to improve the school so have high expectations of both staff and pupils. The headteacher is excellent and is looking for a committed member of staff to join the brilliant team.
We are looking for:
*Experience working within a primary school
*NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is essential
*Someone who can communicate effectively & with strong behaviour management skills
*An enthusiastic individual with high organisational skills and a willingness to learn on the job
*Someone who is an excellent role model and who actively promotes the skills, attributes and behaviours important in a classroom
You will be expected to support the teacher with daily classroom activities and provide opportunities to make a difference to the pupils learning.

*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
