Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant and with an aptitude for English?

Tradewind are recruiting for an academic Teaching Assistant to work in a secondary school in Tottenham to start asap. This role will initially be through until the end of the academic year. You will be required to work across the Secondary age range, mostly years 9 and 10 with the teachers to raise key pupils attainment particularly in English.

Working hours are 8:15am - 3pm, Monday to Friday, term time only.

The school is looking for:
-Previous experience working within a Secondary school setting is preferred but not essential
-Experience working with students with either SEN or challenging behaviour
-A drama/performing arts education/experience

The school is located in Tottenham with excellent access to public transport links.

This is a high achieving school and for its last Ofsed in 2017 was graded 'outstanding' for all categories. The teachers have high aspirations for their pupils and the behaviour is excellent.
