Role Overview: As an Experienced Behavioural Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students who require additional guidance in managing their behaviours. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with teachers and educational staff to develop and implement effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Providing individualised support to students with behavioural challenges, helping them build crucial life skills and self-confidence.
  • Assisting in the design and execution of targeted behaviour intervention plans.
  • Acting as a mentor and role model for students, encouraging positive behaviour and personal growth.
  • Liaising with parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to student support.

Key Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A proven track record of working as a Behavioural Support Assistant or in a similar capacity within educational settings.
  • Strong knowledge of behaviour management techniques and a passion for making a positive impact on students' lives.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport with students, staff, and parents.

Start Date: The role is set to commence in September 2023, allowing you to contribute to the educational journey of students from the start of the academic year.
