Teaching Assistant - Large Secondary School Watford, Hertfordshire - £80 - £110 per day depending on experience - Half term or March 2024 Start

Teaching Assistant required to work closely with a variety of students at different stages of their secondary education and all with various and different needs. This role offers the potential to become a permanent member of schools staff and the rewarding opportunity to contribute and improve the educational journey of students within your care.

*** Teaching Assistant -Watford, Hertfordshire

*** £80 - £110 per day

*** Start after the February Half term or for March 1st

*** Monday - Friday (5 days per week 8:30 - 3:30)

We are actively seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their SEN team and support across key stages 3 and 4. Committed to nurturing pupils growth and enhancing students' confidence, the school offers a warm, inclusive atmosphere. **Key Responsibilities**

  • Collaborate with teachers to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Provide individualised support to students, ensuring their academic and personal growth.
  • Foster an inclusive atmosphere that promotes the well-being of all students.
  • Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and classroom activities.
  • Support classroom behaviour management in alignment with school policies.

**Qualifications and Skills**

  • Prior experience working in an educational setting or with children is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for working with primary school students.
