Are you Behavioural TA / Support Worker looking for a new opportunity in an SEMH Primary School in Wigan?

Tradewind is currently working with an SEMH Primary School in Wigan Ofsted rated 'Good', the school are looking to recruit a Behavioural TA on a full-time, long term basis. This role is to start in as soon as possible till April 2020 with the potential to go permeant.

The School is looking to employ a Teaching Assistant/Support Worker to work with a pupil who is in KS2 undertaking a transition from the SEMH school to a Primary mainstream. This is a full-time position on a long term temporary contract, working 5 days per week.

The successful Teaching Assistant/ Support Worker will be required to have previous experience working as a Support Worker or Teaching Assistant and be confident working 1:1 with a KS2 pupil.

The SEMH Primary School is in Wigan with excellent access to public transport links and free on-site parking.
After visiting the school, I was really impressed with the state of the art facilities. This school also encourages and healthy and active approach to every day school life. The school has a welcoming team of staff and a strong and well-structured SLT.

Essential requirements:
*This OFSTED 'Good' Secondary SEMH School looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant/ Support Worker
*Have excellent communication and behaviour management techniques
*Be confident in dealing with challenging behaviour
*Excellent interpersonal skills based on effective communication
*Passion to ensure every pupil succeeds and reaches their full potential
*Experience with working on a 1-2-1
*An awareness of their own strengths and areas for development and a willingness to listen to, reflect constructively and ac upon, as appropriate, feedback from others
*Be able to confidently work as part of the team and independently
