As a Teaching Assistant in a primary alternative provision, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing support and assistance to students with diverse learning needs.
• Assisting with classroom management and behaviour management strategies.
• Collaborating with teachers to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
• Offering one-on-one or small group support for students who require additional help.
• Providing a safe and nurturing atmosphere for students to thrive academically and emotionally.

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications and qualities:

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school or alternative provision setting is preferred.
• Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant certificate or support worker (desired not essential).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
• Flexibility to adapt to different classroom settings and learning styles.
• A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed.
