Key responsibilities include:

* Providing support to Year 2 children with complex special educational needs on both a 1:1 and small group basis.

* Taking charge of the safeguarding of the young individuals under your supervision.

* Assisting the school team in creating a stimulating, secure, and nurturing environment conducive to student learning.

This position offers a competitive pay rate ranging from £76 to £85 per day, depending on experience. The role commences immediately on a full-time basis, extending for the remainder of the academic year with potential for further extension.

About you:

Applicants should demonstrate outstanding proficiency and competence as a Teaching Assistant. Your duties will include, but not be limited to:

* Assisting teachers in lesson delivery, managing classroom activities, and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere. * Providing personalised support to pupils facing learning challenges to enhance their grasp of the curriculum.

* Aiding in the preparation of teaching materials, including equipment setup and resource organisation.

* Cultivating positive relationships with all pupils based on trust and mutual respect.

* Collaborating effectively with key stage and wider staff, sharing advice, resources, and best practices.

Essential Requirements:

• Strong references substantiating previous experience in KS1.
• A CV outlining the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.
• Authorisation to work in the UK.
