A 'Good' Primary School in Lambeth are looking for someone to join their highly respected establishment as a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant.



The role:



This role means working with a highly talented SEN department under the trusted guidance of a skilled SENCO. Based with one student you will be helping with managing behaviour as well as assisting learning while in the classroom. The SENCO is looking to recruit a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant who will work with the student running intervention sessions and extra support, this could require outside lesson support throughout the school day supporting with Maths, English and Science to assure the student receives the best possible education and support.



The Candidate:



This post requires an academic individual holding a 2:1 or above in a related degree as well as experience working with children. It is vital you have SEN knowledge and a real passion for supporting those who require extra support. This position would suit a compassionate graduate who possesses the ability to cope in challenging situations. The SENCO wants to recruit a graduate with the ability to create positive relationships and the understanding and patience to work well with the children within their care.
