Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team at Hyde Primary School. The successful candidate will play an essential role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, assisting teachers and ensuring the smooth running of classroom activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teachers in implementing planned learning activities, including preparing materials and resources.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, reinforcing learning concepts as directed by the teacher.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and positive learning environment, promoting positive behaviour and engagement.
• Help with administrative tasks and classroom organisation, including displaying student work and preparing learning materials.
• Build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents to support the overall well-being of students.

Requirements:

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting is advantageous but not essential.
• Passion for education and a commitment to supporting the development of young learners.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
