Teaching Assistant- Oldham- June 2024 Start

£85-£90 per day PAYE

Tradewind Recruitment are working with a 2 form entry school in the borough of Oldham. The school are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join them in their KS1 or KS2 teams as a general TA on a long term, temp to perm basis. Hours are 8:30am-4pm Monday- Friday, term time only.

The school is a larger than average, ethnically and economically diverse two form entry primary school with a nursery and Children's Centre. They pride themselves on their high achievement and inclusive community.

Their tailor-made curriculum provides opportunities for pupils to learn about their world by drawing on local history and through real life experiences. Curriculum strengths in ICT, music and the arts provide enriching experiences through which every child can aspire to become a life-long learner.

The school have a very close relationship with their community and always listen to the views and desires of children and parents in order to improve and enhance all that they do. Year 6 pupils were recently asked what might be done to improve things for pupils in the future. One boy responded, ' I love this school too much to change it.' The school really is an exciting and truly amazing place in which to learn. In addition, in a recent year 6 exit questionnaire: 100% of pupils enjoyed coming to school, 100% of pupils felt they achieved success and 100% of pupils now see themselves as 'life-long-learners'.
