Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant required to support Year 5 and 6 - Potters Bar, Hertfordshire - £90 per day based on experience - 3 days per week on Mon/Wed/Fri - Starting ASAP

Are you looking for a class-based Teaching Assistant role in a lovely Primary School located in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire on a part time basis? Would you be keen to support Primary aged students at the top end of Key Stage 2 who will be taking or preparing for SATs exams?

***Teaching Assistant - Working in Years 5 and 6 - Potters Bar, Hertfordshire

***Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistants or graduates with a passion for education

***Long term role starting now - £90 per day - Monday, Wednesday and Friday

Located in the popular town of Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, this lovely two form entry Primary School is looking to appoint either an experienced TA with a Level 2 or 3 TA qualification or be a recent graduate.

As a Teaching Assistant in upper Key Stage 2 you will be working with Year 5 and 6 students who will be preparing for this years or next year's SAT's results. These are important exams that set where the student will start at Secondary school and the support they will be given so it is essential that students achieve so they can continue to be extended in their education. The role will require one to one and small group work across a range of classes.

The key requirements for this role are:

• Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or Graduate with an honours degree
• Strong academic background with the ability to support students in Maths & English
• Experience of working with young people and the confidence to help them progress
• A warm personality who understands how to break down concepts for students
• Passion for education and learning

This role is a long-term post starting ASAP for the rest of the academic year.
