Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to work in a highly regarded Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Wandsworth working with KS3 pupils. The role starts in January at a daily rate between £75 and £90 per day.

The PRU specialises in working with secondary aged pupils with SEMH, pupils who have been excluded from mainstream settings and those who are unable to attain a school place. The school has small class sizes and are looking for an SEMH specialist to support pupils with an aim of getting them back into a mainstream school setting.

-Must have previous PRU experience
-Team Teach or positive restraint training is preferred but not essential
-You will work closely with experienced SEMH teachers providing 1:1 and small group support in a challenging behaviour environment.

The school is easily accessible by bus and tube and has parking on site and locally.

*Have an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
*You must have the legal right to work in the UK
