Tradewind is currently looking for an organised SEN Teaching Assistant with previous experience to work in a provision for SEN pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties. The role will require you to work with primary students and to start ASAP. This is a full-time role to work until the end of the academic year with the potential for the role to continue into the new academic year as well.

As a SEN teaching assistant, you will be responsible for working with a pupil on a 1:1 basis aiding them with the educational opportunities available to them. Patience, adaptability, experience supporting emotional regulation and flexible thinking will be key to success in this role.

For this role we are looking for:
*An experienced teaching assistant who has worked with children with SEN and with the national curriculum or;
*A recent graduate looking to start their career in education
*Experience using behaviour techniques within a classroom
*A proactive team player, who is flexible and friendly
*Someone who is confident providing 1:1 support and facilitating small groups
*Someone to help children understand instructions through repetition and rephrasing
*Supervising students on school trips

Based in Cambridge, this Ofsted rated 'Good' school caters for 200 pupils with a wide range of needs. This lovely Primary school is interviewing experienced SEN teachers and Teaching assistants looking for their next long-term opportunity.
