Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a patient, caring and personable Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant to support a range of SEND students on a 1:1 basis. The role will be on a full time basis until Christmas at least, with the view to be extended or made permanent after a successful assignment. This welcoming secondary school is currently graded as 'Good' in all areas by Ofsted.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant will need to be able to support pupils that may have challenging behaviour, specific learning difficulties or EHCP's. Activities will be set by the teacher and SENDCo and you will be expected to support pupils with their progress and attainment.

The successful Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant will be:
Confident to support their SEND pupils with a range of needs from Autism to SLD.
Able to support students and keep on track in a variety of lessons.
A committed professional, who has previous experience working with children (experience with special needs is desirable).
Resilient in dealing with challenging behaviour.
