Tradewind are currently recruiting for a hardworking and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a great 'family feel' school in Dudley. The role is for a full academic year starting ASAP.
We are recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant for a school situated in the heart of Birmingham. This school is well known, full of resources and offers a great work life balance.
The Headteacher provides clear leadership and support. She has high ambitions for the school and equally high expectations of all staff. Teamwork is strong across the school and everybody works together. The school has strong links with parents, carers, and the community. The staff all work together to provide a caring, nurturing environment in which their learners will be supported to achieve their potential.
The school is based in Birmingham and has excellent motorway links with the motorway and is easily accessible by public transport with a bus stop outside school in addition to a secure onsite carpark.
This special needs school is looking for a confident, friendly and flexible SEND Teaching Assistant to work within their Year 4 & 5class. The successful candidate must have excellent behaviour management, a good knowledge of the National Curriculum and have prior experience of supporting children with challenging behaviour, special needs. The role itself will involve working across key stage 2, supporting two children with autism, ADHD, MLD and GDD.

* SEND experience including challenging behaviour, ADHD, Autism, MLD, GDD
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
*You must have the legal right to work in the UK
