Tradewind is currently looking for a hardworking and organised Teaching Assistant to work in a provision for SEN pupils with Speech and Language Learning Difficulties. The role will require you to work with primary students and to start in January. This is a full-time role to work until the end of the academic year with the potential for the role to continue.
As a Speech and Language teaching assistant, you would be responsible for working in small groups and 1:1 and will be required to develop students' confidence and communication skills. We are looking for a patient individual who can be flexible in their assistance and teaching.
For this role we are looking for:
*An experienced teaching assistant who has worked with pupils with SEN and with the national curriculum or;
*An individual who has competed Team Teach Training is desired but not essential
*Experience using behaviour techniques within a classroom
*Experience in leading and supporting students in Speech and Language sessions
*Experience and knowledge of the Primary/Secondary Education
