A two-form entry mainstream primary school based in the heart of Hammersmith and Fulham is currently looking to recruit a highly motivated and resilient Teaching Assistant to join their team. This Teaching Assistant position is due to start in September 2020 and will continue for a full academic year with the potential of a permanent contract for September 2021. This Teaching Assistant position is paying an annual salary of £18,500 - £21,500 and your working hours are 8.30 am - 4.00 pm Monday - Friday.

The school is based in the heart of Hammersmith and Fulham with exceptional transport links and parking available for all staff. The leadership team pride themselves for their links to the community and their exceptionally well-resourced school with ample space for extracurricular activities.
The role as a Teaching Assistant would be to work in Year 3 and ideally you would have experience working with students in Year 2 and Year 3. The cohort of children are very well behaved however there are gaps to fill with students learning. Your role as a Year 3 Teaching Assistant will be to provide small group intervention sessions focusing on reading, writing and maths. Your role will be to support a wide range of children, not just SEND.


To be shortlisted for this role you will have:
*Proven track record working as an intervention Teaching Assistant in KS2
*The ability to work independently in creative intervention plans according to students needs
*A forward-thinking mindset and a passion for seeing students' progress
*Self-motivated, have excellent time-keeping and exemplary attendance record
