A two-form entry primary school based rated 'Outstanding' In their recent Ofsted inspection is currently looking for a nurturing and skills Teaching Assistant to join their team. This Teaching Assistant position is due to start in January 2021 and will continue full-time until July 2021. The annual salary for this position is £15,600 - £19,500. The school is based in the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham with accessible transport links to public transport. The leadership team pride themselves for their links to the community and their exceptionally well-resourced school with ample space for extracurricular activities.

This role will be based in Year 6 and your role will be to support a student in Year 6 especially academically. The Year 6 student is very able and is diagnosed with ASD related social communication / interaction difficulties. This student also has complex health needs therefore this role would suit a Teaching Assistant who is confident and compassionate for this student's needs.

To be shortlisted for this Year 6 Teaching Assistant position, you need to:

Have experience working with upper KS2 students and be able to confidently progress students academically

Be motivated and independent to create resources and any additional work needed for the students

Have experience with students diagnosed with ASD and Complex Needs

Be able to work closely with the student's parents

Be available to work 5 days per week 8.30 am to 4.00 am
