A two-forms of entry primary dynamic and caring school in the borough of Wadsnworth is currently looking for highly resilient and passionate Teaching Assistants to join their outstanding team. This role is for a academic year from September 2020 to July 2021 with an opportunity of a permanent contract in September 2021. This Teaching Assistant position is paying an annual salary of £18,500 - £21,500 and your working hours are 8.30 am - 4.00 pm Monday - Friday.

This established two-forms of entry, popular school would welcome applications from Experienced Teaching Assistants who would like the opportunity to build positive relationships with children, some with high needs such as (ADHD, ASD, Behaviour and Dyslexia) or groups of our disadvantaged pupils in both KS1 and KS2.
To be shortlisted for this role you must also be able to demonstrate that you have the passion, experience and skills to work successfully on a 1-2-1 basis with children with identified needs by having the skills, patience and confidence to help them overcome their barriers to learning.

A good understanding of the importance of lesson planning, SEN support plans and learning objectives is essential therefore you need to have excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.

The ability to be able to work constructively in supporting children in whole school activities such as playground duty and trips is expected and you should be resilient in your approach to challenging situations by using school strategies to effectively re-engage pupils.
