Team Teach Trained Teaching Assistant

Are you a Team Teach Trained Teaching Assistant looking for a full-time position starting in September 2019 until December 2019 with the potential to go permanent?

Tradewind Preston are working in partnership with a 'Good' Primary Alternative Provision to recruit an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support within class. You will be working across several classes supporting both on a 1-2-1 or a 2-2-1 basis and as a general class support in KS1 and KS2.

The most recent OFSTED graded the school as 'Good'. At the Alternative Provision they aim to ensure that they give them the necessary support to improve their confidence, self-esteem and enable them to become successful learners in school and prepared for their future working lives.

The ideal candidate for this role will have Team Teach Training and a minimum of 6 months experience working in an Alternative Provision environment or have worked extensively with learners with SEMH (social, emotional and mental health needs).

We are looking for:
*Excellent communication and behaviour management techniques
*Confidence in dealing with challenging behaviour
*Experience with supporting SEMH
*Be able to confidently work as part of the team and independently
*Team Teach Trained
