Are you a Team Teach Trained Teaching Assistant in Burnley looking for a full-time position starting 27th January 2020 until July 2020 with the potential to go permanent?

Tradewind Preston are working in partnership with a 'Good' SEMH School in Burnley to recruit an experienced Teaching Assistant/ Support Worker. You will be working on a 1-2-1 with a year 8 pupil with ASD and SEMH needs.

The most recent OFSTED graded the school as 'Good'. At the SEMH School they aim to ensure that they give them the necessary support to improve their confidence, self-esteem and enable them to become successful learners in school and prepared for their future working lives

The ideal candidate for this role will have Team Teach Training and a minimum of 6 months experience working in an Alternative Provision environment or have worked extensively with learners with ASD and SEMH (social, emotional and mental health needs).

We are looking for:

*Excellent communication and behaviour management techniques
*Teaching Assistant Level or Degree Qualified
*Confidence in dealing with challenging behaviour
*Experience with supporting SEMH
*Be able to confidently work as part of the team and independently
*Team Teach

*Traveling is essential as you will be work off site a couple of days with the pupil car provided or travel expenses paid for*

The school has close motorway links with the M65 which is accessible by car with a large free car parking and easily accessible via public transport.
