Tradewind Recruitment are working with a special education needs school located in Wigan, that cater for pupils from KS2 up to KS4. The school specialises in teaching children who have social and emotional mental health needs, may who have attachment and trauma issues also.

We are looking for an experienced Therapeutic Teacher to work on a small group basis.
The school aims to provide children with individual timetables based on therapeutic interventions which will support their current interests and engage learning. The school has a high ratio of male pupils compared to female pupil with small class sizes and learning support within each class.

The ideal Teacher will have;

Successful candidates must hold Qualified Teacher Status.

Ideal candidates will have strong curriculum knowledge and will ensure that the lessons he/she delivers are of excellent quality using appropriate behaviour management techniques when needed.
