Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an enthusiastic and innovative LSA with Thrive training, to join a successful SEN school in North West Bristol, to start as soon as possible. This is a full time, long term role, paying up to £70 a day.

We are recruiting on behalf of a SEND school, which caters for students from Early Years to KS2. The school is an 'Good' educational provider and is delivering promising outcomes for students in the local area. The leadership team continuously maintains the good quality of education in the school and is believed to be working towards an "outstanding" standard.

This OFSTED 'Good' SEN school is looking for a Special Educational Needs LSA who can support young people with very complex needs. The ideal candidate will support young people with low-functioning Autism and other complex needs with ease as well as manage behaviour effectively. You must be a Special needs LSA with Thrive approach training, who will want to attain the highest standards in enabling learning and emotional development throughout your role. You will need to be a collaborative and driven individual who will support the teacher through inventive approaches to child development.

The role itself will involve supporting students in Primary phases diagnosed with ASC, ADHD, Asperger's and BESD. Ideal candidates will have strong behaviour management and will ensure to nurture and develop pupils' learning capacities, enabling them to enjoy a good quality of life through healthy living and positive relationships with self, peers, adults and their community.

The school is based in Bristol, with good public transport links and ample parking available.

*Hold a Thrive approach training certificate
*Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
*Have a CV covering at least 10 years employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
*Have the legal right to work in the UK
