Trainee Teacher - Cirencester January 2024

We are currently on the lookout for a highly motivated and dedicated Cover Supervisor to join our team and contribute to the positive learning environment at a secondary school in Cirencester, starting after the February Half Term 2024.

Tradewind offer a free Trainee Teacher course which gives you the essential knowledge to effectively do this role!

Your role will involve:

• Supervising classes
• Supporting teachers
• Ensuring student engagement and focus
• Maintaining a safe and positive atmosphere for learning is a key responsibility

Key requirements for this position include a minimum of A levels. While previous experience in a secondary school setting is preferred, it is not essential as we provide comprehensive training. Effective communication skills and strong classroom management are essential qualities. We offer a supportive and collaborative working environment, along with opportunities for professional development.

The pay ranges from £110 per day for trainees to £130 per day for experienced Cover Supervisors with higher qualifications. Full and part-time positions are available starting in February for the right individuals, with the standard working day from 08:30 am to 3:30 pm.

Candidates must undergo full vetting, and an enhanced child workforce DBS will be applied for on your behalf.
