Tradewind are working in partnership with a provision who are aiming to help bridge the knowledge gap of disadvantaged children. They are aiming to provide 2-4 hours of online tuition, 4 evenings per week, and are looking for a qualified Maths teacher, and a qualified English teacher, to provide high quality online tuition for these students. You will be paid £25.00 per hour for this work, and we expect this booking to last at least until Christmas, but very likely until February half term in 2021. This may be subject to extension, depending on a number of factors, including achieving additional funding. We expect this booking to start either mid/late August or early September.

In the interim, you will be working remotely, providing an online tuition service. For this reason, experience working remotely in a tuition basis is ideal, but in no way essential. As you will be working with disadvantaged students, some of which will attend Pupil Referral Units during the day, it is an advantage to have experience working with SEMH students. You will be working with students aged between 11-16, so experience with the new A level specifications is not essential, however experience with the new GCSE specifications is essential for this position. You will be providing a service on a 1-1 basis, so having a calm, caring and personable demeanour is essential to ensure these students receive the best possible education. We are looking for someone who shares the values of the centre, that all students deserve a high quality of education, regardless of their starting point. This booking may change from online to 'in person' in the near future, so we ask that applicants are happy to travel to Hull on an evening when applying for this position.

The role:
*Providing bespoke 1-1 tuition in either Maths/English (depending on your subject specialism)
*Plan for your sessions - and provide feedback on work when necessary
*Provide support for disadvantaged students

Essential requirements:
A teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent)
*Experience delivering Maths/English to GCSE students
*An enhanced DBS on the update service
*Tradewind Recruitment receiving 2 (or more) suitable references from education settings
