Tradewind are working with an Alternative Provision school in Fleetwood who are looking for a Vocational Instructor/Support.

You will be working within the school and will be involved in the setup of their exciting new construction unit. As the vocational instructor/ Support part of your role will be working in partnership with a college to ensure that all pupils have the high-quality learning experiences and are supported to reach their full potentials. The successful candidate will support and assess pupils work and make sure the vocational department runs smooth at all times, this included ensuring that there are the correct resources for the Building and Construction Course within the Alternative Provision.

The ideal person for the Alternative Provision would have a positive attitude and knowledge and experience of working in the construction industry. Experience of working within an alternative provision is desire but not essential. Experience of working with young people is also desire but not essential as full training will be provided. This position is to start as soon as possible working full time until July 2020. This position will then become a permanent role.

After visiting the school, I was really impressed with behaviour, the school has a welcoming team of staff and a well-structured strong senior leadership team. This school is very supportive and does provide onsite training and CPD to all staff.

This secondary alternative provision is based within Fleetwood and is accessible via both car and public transport.
