Tradewind are currently recruiting for a hardworking and experienced Wellbeing Services Co‐Ordinator to work within a School that supports pupils from age 5 - 16 with SEMH, complex needs such as attachment disorder and ASD in Wigan. The role is for a full academic year starting in as soon as possible until July 2021 however with the potential of going permanent.

We are recruiting for a Wellbeing Services Co‐Ordinator for a SEMH school within Wigan. The SEMH School in Wigan provides education for Primary and Secondary age children from 5 - 16, they aim to provide the highest standards of teaching and learning so that all children can achieve their academic potential. Your role will be working as a Wellbeing Services Co‐Ordinator you will be required to audit and collate individual needs as identified on placing documentation i.e. Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) both for existing young people and adults and as part of the new admissions process. You will be responsible to coordinate and deliver clinical / wellbeing services for young people and adults, aligned with each provision completed needs audit as well as Coordinate and deliver trauma informed practice training at the appropriate level for all staff across the three divisions.

They ensure that they foster and develop the social and emotional well-being of their children as well as concentrating on developing the potential of their staff. Pay starts from £100 per day dependent on experience the school also has a large onsite staff parking with close links to the M6, M61 and a bus stop 10 minutes' walk from the school.

The school has students with a wide range of with challenging behaviour and Social and Emotional behavioural difficulties, complex needs such as attachment disorder and ASD. This school also encourages and healthy and active approach to everyday school life.

As a Wellbeing Services Co‐Ordinator, you will report to the Head Teacher and be part of the SLT. Plus, the successful Wellbeing Services Co‐Ordinator you will be provided with a comprehensive induction package and a wide range of CPD opportunities for all staff. You also are offered a lunch within school with no cost.

To join us and be successful in Wellbeing Services Co‐Ordinator this role you will need to:
Essentials:
*Previous experience working with challenging behaviours
*Understanding OfSTED and / or CQC requirements
*Resilient under pressure
*Full commitment to the young person
*Experience of managing challenging behaviour of children and young people
*Calm in a crisis
*Depth of knowledge of Quality Standards and other legislation relevant to the setting
*Good use of de-escalation strategies (you will be asked for an example at interview)
*Ability to work collaboratively and productively with a range of key partners
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
*You must have the legal right to work in the UK

Desirables
*Qualification in a therapeutic model
*Degree Level or equivalent
*Successful experience of liaising with local authorities
*Experience working within Youth Centres
*Experience working with venerable young people
*School based experience
*Team Teach Trained (desirable not essential as training can be provided)
