Tradewind Recruitment is working closely with a supportive two-form entry primary school in Brent which is looking for a Year 1 teacher to join their team from September 2020. The position is paying an annual salary of up to £40035, depending on experience.



The school is two-form entry primary school with a successful and committed team of staff. There is a great atmosphere at the school, with a very busy feel. The Senior Leadership team place a great emphasis on reading and literacy and there are many activities and events that take place around the school to encourage reading (e.g. a whole-school reading time every morning). Pupils behaviour is excellent and is something that visitors always comment on and praise.



The Year 1 teacher must have the following requirements:

Have full QTS (or equivalent teaching qualifications)
Be experienced teaching in Key Stage One
Have excellent knowledge and understanding of the UK primary curriculum
Have a creative approach and a positive work ethic
Be able to engage positively with colleagues, children and parents
