Are you an inspirational and experienced Year 1 Primary teacher looking for a two/three day a week job-share in Barnet?
This great role starts in January 2020 and will continue until July 2020.
Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a "Good" two-form entry school in Barnet, to secure a committed Year 1 teacher.
This temp to perm role is offering longer term rates of £140 - £170, dependant on experience.
As the successful Year 1 teacher, you will have shared planning time with the Year 1 teacher who takes the class for three days, input from a supportive Key Stage 1 lead and teaching assistant.
This is a creative school, which is committed to the Arts, has an outstanding sports provision and digital curriculum.
Their Dance team were crowned National School Champions in 2017 and 2018 and they also received the National Award for "Best School Music Department" at the Music Teacher Excellence Awards.
As the successful applicant, you will have the following responsibilities:
*To plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Year 1 lessons.
*A team player who is able to work independently as well as work collaboratively with the teacher taking the class for the three days.
* To foster a learning environment and educational experience, that provides children with the opportunity to fulfil their individual potential.
* To share in the development of the school curriculum, schemes of work, teaching materials, teaching programmes, methods of teaching and assessment and their review.
* To actively promote the policy and practice of inclusion.
This two-form entry, Edgware school is located in the Borough of Barnet, a leafy North London suburb. The school is accessible by the Norther Line and on bus routes.

Job Requirements
*Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
*Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
*You must have the legal right to work in the UK
*Experience of teaching Key Stage 2.
