Tradewind Recruitment are exclusively working a school in the East Riding and surrounding areas who are looking for a new KS1 Teacher to start with them after October Half Term until July to cover a Maternity Leave. This role is temporary on supply basis. This role is suitable for both NQT's and Fully Qualified Teacher and pay will be in line with recent experience and recent pay scales. The school do however cap pay at M6.
The school are focused at the moment on Mental Health and emotional well-being. The class you will be working with are a smaller than average sized class and you will have the support of a Full time TA for SEN support and a TA who is conducting interventions during the morning sessions. The school use Read Write Inc so someone with experience of this would be desired but it is not necessary. You will have the support of other KS1 Teacher and they share planning and resources.
The School are looking for:
A KS1 Specialist with the ability to teach Phonics, ideally using the Read Write Inc scheme, however training can be provided
A committed practitioner, who will work within the school policies and their drive to raise pupil attainment
A Teacher who will work well within the school team, the school see their team more like a family
The school would like someone who would be interested in running a club of their choice
Someone who is committed to supporting children, a knowledge of Mental Health awareness would be ideal
The school is located in the East Riding area, is accessible from the M62 and Hull. There is free parking on site.

Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
