Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a large Harrow Primary School to recruit a Year 1 Teaching to join their successful school. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and learning in a Year 1 class. The role is due to start September 2020 and will last the full academic year. Main pay scales available dependent on experience.

The OFSTED rated Outstanding School is a busy and exciting setting to work in. Staff aim to make all lessons innovative and exciting to keep pupils engaged. The school have high expectations of all staff and pupils and provide excellent support in order to ensure high standards are maintained. The Headteacher is looking for a highly motivated practitioner with excellent classroom management. The successful candidate will be passionate about making learning fun, relevant and enjoyable. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-moving, forward-thinking school that is a great place to work.

The successful candidate will be able to complete the following:

-Provide a safe, happy and stimulating environment in which each student can reach their full potential

-Use targeted teaching to make sure all students make fast and constant progress across all the curriculum

-Have high aspirations and expectations on students in both behaviour and achievement

-Encourage each child to be positive and self-motivated, taking responsibility for their own actions

-Fit in with the diverse, inclusive curriculum which is balanced and differentiated to the needs of each student


The school is located in West London with parking available for all staff.

To join us and be successful in this Year 1 Teacher role you will need to:

Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification

This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained

You must have the legal right to work in the UK
