Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a Primary School in Ashton-Under-Lyne, Tameside to start ASAP until the Summer 2020. This is a full time, long-term role with a salary of £65 per day.

*Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification
*Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and employment breaks must be explained
*Have the legal right to work in the UK

We are recruiting for a Year 1 Teaching Assistant on behalf of a recently improved Primary School in Ashton, the school has recently been undertaken buildings work both in and outside and because of this, it benefits from an excellent learning and teaching environment.

In this school, pupils try hard to achieve their best and make good progress across the school from their starting points. The staff and pupils enjoy working in this friendly and caring environment in which pupils are friendly, polite and considerate.

The school is based in Oldham and is accessible via car or bus.

About the role

The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work within their Year 1 class, supporting the class teacher in the delivery of the National Curriculum. The successful Teaching Assistant will be working alongside a well-respected Teacher and the class has another Teaching Assistant who provides support to a child with SEN.

The role itself will involve supporting students within Year 1, ensuring that they have access to the National Curriculum. Under the direction of the class teacher, you will be required to help the students to make progress within phonics, numeracy, reading and writing. The school are looking for somebody with a strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and good behaviour management skills.
