Year 2 Class Teaching Assistant required for a Primary School in Oldham

Tradewind are currently looking for an experienced and qualified Year 2 Class Teaching Assistant. The role is a full time, long term position starting September 2020 with a transition period for the last week of the summer term. This role has the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate. As a Year 2 Class Teaching Assistant, you will be expected to plan, prepare and teach small group intervention, have excellent knowledge of the KS1 National Curriculum and support children on a 1:1 basis. You will have a positive approach to teaching and learning, with strong behaviour management and a proactive attitude.

Year 2 Class Teaching Assistant Job Responsibilities;

*Work as a team with the class teacher and other support staff
*Communicate and liaise with parents
*Ability to engage with and inspire students
*The flexibility to get involved with extra-curricular activities
*Have excellent knowledge of the KS1 National Curriculum and Phonics

* Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
* Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

* Have the legal right to work in the UK
