Tradewind are looking to appoint a highly motivated, energetic, dynamic and ambitious practitioner who will be responsible for the progress and attainment of approximately 30 pupils in a Year 2 class in a lovely community in Tameside. This is a maternity cover role which will commence May 2021 and run until May 2022 and the school will pay a competitive salary between £125-185 per day that reflects your suitability and experience. This is a full inclusive primary school with enhanced SEN provision and is well resourced with Smart TV's, Chromebooks and IPADS. About the Role

You will be responsible for planning and delivering various subjects across the curriculum to approximately 30 pupils in a Year 2 class. Differentiation and individualised learning strategies will be vital skills required to meet the needs of all pupils who will have had varying degrees of success in their educational lives. You will be expected to plan targeted interventions across literacy and numeracy to support those not meeting age related expectations and you'll be joined by a full-time teaching assistant who is very familiar with the Year 2 curriculum.

-Be able to communicate well with colleagues and work as a team to achieve desired outcomes ensuring regular feedback is provided to inform next steps for learning

Essential Requirements

The successful candidate must:

-Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.

-Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and employment breaks must be explained

-Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks. Or be happy to undertake a new DBS through us

-Have excellent references to support your previous experience in a KS1 setting

-Have the legal right to work in the UK
