This two-form Primary School is looking for cover for the term, which pay rates ranging between £75- £85 per day, depending on experience.

This friendly and supportive school in the borough of Barking and Dagenham, is well-thought of in the community and is a friendly and welcoming two-form entry school.

Tradewind Recruitment have worked with the school for a number of years and know Senior Leadership well.

As the successful Year 2 SEN Teaching Assistant you will be working one to one with a verbal child on the Autistic Spectrum. He is new to the school and will benefit from a SEN Teaching Assistant who is experienced and confident working with a child with behaviour difficulties. Work will be set by the teacher and you will have regular meetings with the teacher, to ascertain the child's development educationally; socially and emotionally.

This is a great role for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who wants to work with a Lovely Year 2 child.

The school is based in the vibrant London borough of Barking and Dagenham which is a multicultural and inclusive part of London. It is a short walk from the District line.

There is a small carpark for staff.

Job Requirements

Experience of working with children with special educational needs
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
You must have the legal right to work in the UK
