Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a committed, attentive and proactive Year 2 Teacher who will also take ownership as a KS1 Leader. The successful candidate will be joining a well-structured and supportive team with excellent senior leadership. This role is a January 2019 start for a full-time Year Long fixed term role with a view to establish a permanent position within a well-respected local and friendly school. The salary will be Outer London scale £21,859 - £36,157 + TLR eligibility.

We are looking for:
-This primary school are looking for an experienced Year 2 Teacher who can deliver high quality lessons and lead the KS1 department.
-A forward-thinking Year 2 Teacher with the capacity to lead from the front and set an example to other teachers within KS1.
-A person with a high work ethic, that is driven and will always look to go above and beyond without question.
-Someone that is reflective on their own practice and always looking to develop professionally.

With a Good Ofsted rating and consistent positive feedback across all areas including pupil behaviour, this is a very exciting opportunity to make an impact and further your career as a KS1 Leader.
Your duties will include allocated time periods of half day each week for Leadership duties and another half day for PPA duties. This school does class KS1 inclusive of Year 3, and so a thorough individual with the ability to motivate other teachers and make improvements where necessary is crucial.


The school is accessible from the closest train station by a 12-minute walk. The school has a car park but this comes on a first come first served basis, however give the location, there is parking around the school on the roads which is free.

-Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
-Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
-This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
-Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
-You must have the legal right to work in the UK
