This is a lovely infant school located in Barnet, North London which was graded as "good" by Ofsted last year. The school has a traditional feel about it, but with excellent resources, good public transport links, they also have staff parking.
The school is two form entry, with a long-established leadership team, who continually strive to further improve already high standards and ensure that all pupils can reach their full potential.

The school is seeking a teacher with a minimum of 1 year's experience as they, unfortunately, do not have the staff capacity to mentor an NQT next year. Salary on offer is £145 - £160 per day, depending on experience. The role is to cover a maternity leaver and will continue until June 2021, but there may be an option to extend, for the next academic year.

The class has a range of abilities and also some pupils with various special educational needs. They have a full-time teaching assistant and also an SEN assistant who works with small groups in the mornings. Behaviour is good and they are a class who are keen to learn.
Experience of Year 2 SATS would be very welcome.

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
*Have full QTS (or equivalent teaching qualifications) and experience of teaching in a UK primary classroom
*Have taught in key stage 1, ideally Year 2.
*Have a creative approach to teaching to inspire the children in your care
*Have at least one year of experience of teaching in the UK
