The school is seeking a Year 2 Teacher who possesses:
Recent experience of teaching in Key Stage One
Previous experience supporting Year 2 pupils through SATs
Excellent knowledge and understanding of the UK Curriculum
A proven track record of raising attainment
The ability to monitor, assess, record and report pupil progress in line with school policy
The core duties of this Year 2 Teacher role are:
Take responsibility for teaching a class of Year 2
Have an excellent working relationship with the class Teaching Assistant
Manage pupil progress socially and academically whilst tracking the progress of individual pupils within the class, using individual learning journals
Produce comprehensive weekly plans for the seven areas of learning

To join us and be successful in this Year 2 Teacher role you will need to:
Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
This position is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure, overseas police clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
