Tradewind Manchester are working exclusively with an 'outstanding' catholic school in Oldham. We are looking for a brilliant Year 2 teacher to start in January for one and half terms.

This role will be working in conjunction with the existing teacher. You will be working with small groups of children of varying abilities with the focus primarily on literature and numeracy. You will interchange roles with the existing teacher based on skill set and experience. You need to be competent and comfortable with Yr2 SATs. You also need the confidence to teach the whole class as much as a small group of children.

The school achieved an 'outstanding' accreditation from Ofsted in 2015 and then again when re-inspected in 2017. They are also a designated National Support School due to 'outstanding' teaching practice and leadership. About the role:
This OFSTED 'outstanding' primary school (2017) are looking for an innovative and inspirational teacher to join the existing Yr2 teacher from January. We are looking for someone who will apply an energetic and creative approach to teaching. This position is open to experienced teachers and NQT's.
The school are looking for an individual who will look to heavily involve themselves in school life and although this is initially a short term appointment, dependent on how well the structure works, the SLT are open to appointing someone full time to work across the whole school.

Ideally the school are looking for someone with a strong and successful background in Maths and someone who takes a keen interest in sport and leading extracurricular activities.
The successful candidate will work in partnership with the Headteacher and wider leadership team to develop outstanding teaching and learning, ensuring that attainment and achievement opportunities are maximised for all children.
