The school is an Ofsted graded outstanding school with high achieving students and is well thought of in the community. The Head has a requirement from September for a full-time Year 2 Teacher for a lovely missed class of 29. There are 2 children with SEN within the class but with a full-time LSA.
The Headteacher is seeking a strong Year 2 Teacher with proven experience of successfully teaching within KS1. They would like a teacher that will support the high achieving year 2 pupils as they progress into KS2. This role does have the view to go permanent for the right candidate.
The school is well resourced with extensive outdoor play areas, separated into lower and upper school. Classes are big and bright split across two-levels and with an onsite nursery. The school is served by a number of regular bus routes and there is also a large carpark for staff.

Essential requirements:
*Enthusiastic about delivering interactive and creative approaches to learning in a cross curricular context
*Knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
*Ability to work well with and support colleagues
*An organised individual able to work independently
*Flexible individual able to plan for Year 5

Knowledge and proven experience teaching or supporting the UK national curriculum in KS2
Hold PGCE with QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
You must have the legal right to work in the UK
