Tradewind, a leading education recruitment agency, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant school in the High Lane area of Stockport.

Position: Year 2 Teaching Assistant
Location: High Lane, Stockport
Contract Type: Temporary
Start Date: ASAP

Requirements:

  • Experience: The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting, particularly with Year 2 students.
  • Qualifications: A relevant qualification in education or childcare is desirable.
  • DBS on the Update Service: All applicants must have a valid DBS check registered on the Update Service, ensuring a smooth and prompt onboarding process.
  • Passion for Education: A genuine enthusiasm for supporting children's learning and development.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to create a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing support to the Year 2 class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
  • Assisting with the planning and preparation of classroom activities.
  • Providing one-on-one support to students who may require additional help.
  • Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
