Tradewind Manchester is currently looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Year 2 Teaching Assistant, to join an outstanding and successful school in Oldham, to start in October 2020. This is a full time, long term role, with the potential of a permanent contract, paying up to £75.00 a day.
To join us and be successful in this Teaching Assistant role, you will need to:

* Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
* Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and employment breaks must be explained
* Have the legal right to work in the UK

About the role

This OFSTED 'Good' small one-form entry Primary School in Oldham is looking for a Year 2 Teaching Assistant who can support at a good to outstanding class and has excellent behaviour management and sound subject knowledge. You must be a committed practitioner, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout the role. You will need to be a collaborative and driven individual who will support and lead on the delivery of the subject through inventive approaches including curriculum design and the use of ICT.

The role itself will involve the delivery of the KS1 national curriculum to students in this Year 2 class, where the department has enjoyed excellent progression year on year. Ideal candidates will have strong curriculum knowledge and will ensure that the lessons they support are of excellent quality using innovative and engaging approaches, ensuring that the students are having fun whilst making progress.
