This role will include:

  • Supporting a Year 3/4 children with complex special educational needs on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Taking responsibility for the safeguarding of the young person in your care
  • Supporting the school team to provide a stimulating, safe and nurturing environment for students to learn

The competitive pay rate for this position is between £76 and £90 per day, depending on experience. This position will commence ASAP on a part-time basis. You will be required for the rest of the academic year with the possibility of extension.

About you

Applicants are required to demonstrate exceptional proficiency and competence as a Teaching Assistant.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons, managing classroom activities, and maintaining a positive learning environment
  • Provide one-on-one support to pupils with learning challenges, ensuring their understanding of the curriculum
  • Assist in the preparation of teaching materials, including setting up equipment and organising resources for lessons
  • Build a positive rapport with all pupils based on trust and mutual respect
  • Work effectively as a team player with the key stage and wider staff to share advice, resources and best practice


Essential Requirements:

-Excellent references to support previous experience in KS2

-A CV that covers the last 10 years employment history with any CV gaps explained

-The right to work in the UK
