This is a small, traditional faith school that has been educating local children for the past 110 years. The School has recently been part of a successful Ofsted inspection where it was awarded a 'Good' overall grade and noted for its potential to develop further. This school has been part of a federation of two other schools, both located in Islington that has seen standards rising at a phenomenal pace. The school has had access to excellent teaching, greater finance and an exceptional Executive Head Teacher all of which has helped to transform the school's fortunes. The intake in this school is high EAL, high SEN and far higher than average free school meals. About the Role - Year 3 Primary NQT - Islington, North London
This school is looking for a committed NQT who would love the opportunity to teach a settled Year 3 class, expected to achieve well. This class has lost its previous teacher to long term illness but has been taught by the schools two AHT's and are well behaved with a thirst for knowledge. The school would like to appoint a new Year 3 Teacher on a permanent who would be keen to be part of a successful set up from day one. They are looking for the teacher to be confident of inspiring and engaging this class of 30 keen students to ensure they achieve their best.
