Salary will be in line with the outer London MPS, £28355 - £40035, pro-rata, depending on experience.
This is a great school with an inspiring Headteacher and leadership body, who are very supportive of the school team and proud of the work being done at the school. They have a friendly, hard-working team in place, with a determination to drive the children forward.
They have very good resources, including a brilliant AV suite, a school field and specialist sports coaches.
Parking is available and the school is well-positioned for staff who use public transport.
The school is two-form entry and you will be working closely with the parallel year group teacher. The pupils are fun, with good behaviour generally and they respond well to an organised teacher who can deliver pacey, interesting lessons. The children are quite able and like to be presented with suitably challenging activities. There is lots of support from home, and parents/carers want their children to do well.
The school is seeking a teacher with experience of teaching in key stage 2 and who has a friendly, forward-thinking approach with a positive team spirit. You should be organised, with a good sense of humour and able to deliver fun, challenging lessons when possible, to catch the children's interest.
The children respond well to tight routines.
For this key stage 2, Year 3 teacher role, the school is seeking a candidate who:
Has experience teaching key stage 2 students.
Is able to motivate and inspire students.
Is highly motivated with good initiative, but who can also slot in as part of a team.
Demonstrates a variety of teaching and learning strategies.
Possesses good written and verbal communication skills.
Has an organised, firm but fair approach.

Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
