The role is due to start in September 2020 and will continue for the academic year, until July 2021. Salary will be in line with the MPS, outer London (presently £28355 - £40035), depending on experience.

We are recruiting for a key stage 2 teacher for this two-form entry school, located in Barnet borough, in North London.
The school has been through a period of change over the last few years, where standards have not been as high as expected at this school and a new Headteacher has been brought in to turn things around. He is very experienced and has a proven record of helping schools improve, with strong results. He likes to focus on the things that they do well and then put plans into place for areas which require improvement and he is in role for the long term.

The school has a very good community feel. Behaviour at the school is good and children are motivated and enjoy a challenge. They are proud of their school.

The school is well served by public transport and also has a staff car park.

The school is seeking an experienced teacher who will take on the usual responsibilities of a full-time class teacher (planning, marking and assessment, parent consultation evenings etc). You should be hard-working and have a passion for teaching and for identifying ways to help children to reach their full potential. Teamwork is essential, as you will be working closely as a year group team and led by the phase leader and be ready to embrace change.

Key Requirements:

*Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
