Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting for a full-time, Year 3 teacher to join this school rated as "good" by Ofsted. The school is seeking a teacher for a January start as they have a teacher relocating. This role is due to last until July 2021 and the salary will be outer London scale, presently £29915-£41136, depending on experience.

This is a one-form entry school located in the London borough of Barnet, North London. They are led by an established Headteacher who has helped the school to make very good progress. They have a good reputation locally and the school is well-resourced with excellent facilities.
This is a Church of England school and they are seeking a teacher who will follow the school's Christian ethos, although they welcome applicants of all faiths.

The Headteacher's aim is to encourage children to become independent and inquisitive learners and to provide them with the skills to enable this.

Behaviour at the school is good, with children motivated to learn. The class are lovely and respond well to a positive approach. They have been with the same teacher since Year 2 so are used to routines in class. There is a range of attainment levels, so differentiation in planning is essential. The class also has a full-time teaching assistant to support learning.

The school requires a teacher with at least 1 year of experience and who has passed induction year as they do not have the capacity at this stage to assist with induction. Full commitment to the post is expected, including parents evening, marking etc. In addition, you will be required to stay one evening per week planning on a Thursday until 6pm (latest) and also run a 20 minute lunchtime booster session once per week for literacy and numeracy.

*Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
*Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
